Details:Hi Everyone,

Starting today, all of the water well records are now listed with cased depths on our online search tool. Specific well locations including house numbers (when reported by the driller) are scheduled to be available on that search tool starting next Wednesday, May 18.

There is still more work to be done for these two new fields to be posted on the other online data sources (GIS Clearinghouse and Open Data Initiative). I will notify you when this work is complete.

For Long Island well logs (Nassau, Suffolk, Kings, and Queens), many well records are posted on DEC’s InfoLocator. For the wells that are posted, the pdf completion report is immediately available online.

Details: Duration: 8 hr Public · Anyone on or off Facebook Jim Utter and Utter Well Drilling, of Lodi, NY, located in Seneca County in the Finger Lakes region, will be the host of the Summer Meeting of Empire State Water Well Drillers' Association. This meeting will be held at their shop at 8681 Lodi Center Rd., Lodi, NY 14860. The location is east of Seneca Lake and midway between Geneva in the north and Watkins Glen in the south.

This is a special meeting focused on live demonstrations of casing advancement systems on drill rigs. There will be several drill rigs set up doing the demos including a Derex 1340 Dual Rotary, a Foremost Rotary and a T3W. East West Drilling will be doing a hammer break demonstration, taking apart a hammer. There will also be a demo of hydro development (hydro-fracking) to increase water yield in a well and much more.

Rig and vendor setups will begin at 8 a.m. and continue through 10 a.m. Viewing and demo’s begins at 10 a.m. **Friday lunch will be provided with a BBQ from BLOWING SMOKE on site. Beverages will be available.

ESWWDA SUMMER MEETING 2022

Details:The summer meeting is has been scheduled for July 15th in Lodi, in the western part of New York State. We need your participation, help get these live meetings back on track!

The meeting is being sponsored by Jim Utter, Utter Well Drilling, at his shop located at 8681 Lodi Center Rd. Lodi, NY 14860.

This demonstration/meeting will feature a Derex 1340 Dual Rotary, a Foremost Rotary and a T3W.

Setup will begin at 8 a.m and continue through 10 a.m. followed by demos throughout the day. Lunch, provided on site, will be catered by Rollng Smoke.

A list of accommodations will be published in Hole Talk and the area features numerous possibilities for camping.

ESWWDA FALL MEETING AND MANHATTAN BOAT CRUISE

Date: Saturday, October 1, 2022
Details:D&S will again be hosting the Fall meeting at their shop in Danbury, CT followed by dinner aboard the Circle Line Cruise ship as it tours around the island of Manhattan. If you missed this in the fall of 2021, don't miss this opportunity again. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Maron Hotel in Danbury. More details will become available in the next issue of Hole Talk.
